You are absolutely not speaking into the void.

I know it does feel that way.

I love what you said about our souls being ageless! Yes! Absolutely. What a freeing truth this is.

When it comes to hrt for everyone over 40, I think you opened up some real discussion for our bodies design after menopause.

Why would the design be that after menopause we are somehow lacking what we need to be healthy?

I know that this is a nuanced question, but what about the overall design?

Can we support our bodies with phytoestrogen and foods that support hormone optimization?

Is our environment such that suddenly we are all lacking and need replacement therapy?

And to your story about the birds... yes, that little community came to thank you. How cool is that?

I once had a bird take a hike with me for over a mile. It flew in front of me and landed about 6 ft ahead on the trail. As I approached, it took off and landed 6ft ahead. It did this for over a mile and it was the sweetest thing.

I also wonder about this question: can we support our bodies with phytoestrogens as our own levels decline with age? I'm not sure but it's something I'm exploring. Thank you for your work Ann Marie - a joy as always to listen and ponder what you share. 🥰

The question of whether every post-menopausal bodies should be supplementing estrogen or HRT - that’s the question, and one I have been pondering myself lately. I love the nuanced discussion around this and the role of diet, phytoestrogens, and environmental factors. Grateful for this conversation Ann Marie!
