Our favorite CEO announces she's winding down State of Menopause

Stacy London announced on Instagram this week she is closing her company State of Menopause and prepping for a “much-bigger project” to launch in 2023.

The fashion expert and co-host of the long-running US program What Not to Wear burst into the menopause conversation – and business – in 2021 and has been more pivotal in moving it forward in North America than anyone I can think of since.

Stacy told her followers she realized products are secondary to what she wants to do, and what the community might need.

“This is still a very stigmatized topic, very problematic, whether it is a medical issue or a life transition,” she said. “There’s a lot of complication and confusion around it that I really think can be solved with more communication and bigger communities and certainly, most importantly, education.”
