New Hotflash inc podcast: Compounding pharmacies are not meth labs, mmmm k?

As much as certain parties want you to think they are...

One of the things I’ve been most struck by during my time researching this space is how consistently demonized compounding pharmacies and bioidentical hormones are. Time after time after time, interview after interview, they portrayed as some sort of Wild West, Walter White-style meth labs.

And it just never made sense to me. Have you met pharmacists? They are the most measured and precise group of people around. Even the guy who did my PCR test over the summer was more thorough – by a wide margin – than the 75+ other testers I’ve had.

This compounding pharmacies issue has struck me as more of a narrative than the truth, and getting to the bottom of those is one of my favorite things to do. So that’s why I sought out people working in this industry to give their side of the story. I think you’ll see that the reality is very much a different story. I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to what is really going on, but I would love to hear what you think.
