💪 🧠 Groundbreaking research from the University of South Australia shows that any form of regular exercise – especially low- to moderate-intensity activities like walking, yoga, and Tai Chi – can significantly boost brain function and memory across all ages and ability levels. In the largest umbrella review to date, analyzing data from over 258,000 participants, researchers found that even small amounts of activity improved general cognition, memory, and executive function. Children and teens saw the biggest gains in memory, while people with ADHD experienced improved focus and impulse control. Mind-body exercises and exergames were particularly effective, and benefits often appeared within just 1 to 3 months – making movement a simple, accessible, and powerful strategy for cognitive health at any stage of life.
