Daily Mail investigation alleges "alarmingly high" HRT doses at UK private clinics

A few quick things to say about this:

• The #menopauserevolution has been a very good thing and the people who have driven it in the UK have done tireless work on behalf of others, achieving reduction in HRT pricing (just), wider availability; menopause training for doctors, menopause in school curriculums, menopause in the workplace, massive awareness-raising and emboldening, and that’s just for starters

• HRT helps a lot of people and continues to do so

• With so few doctors knowledgeable about menopause, private clinics are often the only option, for those who can afford them. This is creating an inequitable two-tier system for women going through peri/menopause, and it’s happening globally. And it’s a shame.
